Dry-Ups & Contaminated Soils

From unexpected moisture to contamination, our emergency services will get you back on schedule fast.

When Murphy’s Law raises its ugly head, just call PRS. We will quickly evaluate the situation and implement a fix that makes your soil suitable again and puts your job back on schedule.

Emergency Solutions at a Reduced Cost.

The work on your job screeches to a halt when yielding or wet soils are encountered. These weak soils won’t even support your operations, let alone a pavement section or building pad. Your PRS experts will have you back to work in less than 2 days. Contamination? We can often neutralize it with additives, a cost-saving alternative to removal.

Dryups – Lime or Cement-treatment.

Lime or cement treatment provides a quick and cost effective way to reduce the moisture content of super saturated soils. Instead of incurring the high cost of time consuming excavation and replacement of sub standard clays, let us apply this tested and proven technology to dry up wet soils – with minimal downtime. Although prolonged rain is unfortunately rare these days, this process will also allow you to continue work in wet weather.

Ideal for use on parking lots, industrial parks, airport roadways, building foundations, roads and streets.

Bio-remediation of contaminated soils.

We will turn your bad dirt into good fill, and save on removal and import costs.

Bio-remediation or “land farming” of hydrocarbon contaminated soils provides an inexpensive, ecological solution to turn contaminated soil into useful fill material. High volume additive mixing and aeration allows for the rehabilitation of contaminated soil, eliminating the high cost of removal and importing of replacement material. The addition of other reagents such as cement, fly ash and quicklime make it possible to fixate hazardous materials at significant cost savings compared to other methods.

Dust control.

Meet AQMD standards at low cost. If you have a fugitive dust problem, we will control it by the spreading and mixing of various AQMD approved products on problem areas. The same products can also be combined with imported asphalt millings to provide a very low cost, serviceable roadway that is also dust free. The products become a part of the pavement road section. Stabilize roadways and parking lots with our environmentally friendly solution.
